Being a visual person, all of my experiences translate into visual expressions in my work.

Color, energy, symbols, surfaces, are my means of exploring and understanding this world.

Most recent work is encaustic paint on canvas. Its a slow meditative process using hot beeswax and color pigment. It is color, form, energy moving from the eye of the viewer to the mind and heart. A meditation, a dance, a conversation about love. It’s Visual.

Paola Savarino was educated at the Cleveland Institute of Art (Cleveland OH) and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston MA) where she would later go on to teach painting.
